Which cabin do I choose when I am using Gold Upgrade Voucher?

Select the cabin you want to fly with, select that you are using GUV. You will be quoted avios for lower cabin and GUF badge will indicate which segments the voucher applies to.

Can I quote trips with Barclaycard vouchers?

Yes, you can. Just select that you are using Gold Upgrade voucher. Barclaycard voucher works the same way as Gold Upgrade Voucher, with a few restrictions: you cannot book First class with it; you have to start your trip from the UK; you can use it for 2 people one-way, or for 1 person on a return ticket.

I have bought my ticket already and just found out I was charged too many avios...

This usually happens when using Gold Upgrade Voucher to upgrade into First class on at least one segment. In such case the call centre agents ought to use historical avios pricing, when calculating the avios amount. Unfortunately, many agents will use the RFS/non-RFS which are set up to be identical and thus charge you RFS amount for the Club cabin, incorrectly.
Call again and ask to check the quote, ask the agent to use the Gold Upgrade calculator to get you quoted correctly. Refunds are processed immediately.
